when the mountains dance with wildflowers {Lifestyle Photographers C/S}

I’m not a Colorado native, but I hold this beautiful place as close to my heart as though I’d been here forever.  Colorado has brought so much to my family and I.  We came here on a whim, a whisper, and a prayer 4 years ago from Tennessee. We wanted to live adventurously  and to enjoy the natural beauty of this state.  Not long after we decided to move here, we discovered the wildflowers in Crested Butte.

My husband surprised me with a trip to capture those wildflowers several years ago…it instantly became my favorite place. Once we moved here, we once again traveled to Crested Butte during wildflower season to capture the beauty of this wild and gorgeous place.

We hiked a few trails, and we were rewarded with amazing green hills and startling vivid wildflowers.  I hope to always support the preservation and protection of places just like Crested Butte so generations to come may enjoy it as much as I have.

These are a few of my favorites from our little day trip, but more than anything these are a few snapshots of what makes Colorado one of the most beautiful places to live in.  It is my little ode to nature…
