After over a year into the Covid-19 pandemic, we are aware that the need for communication and flexibility within our approach to your wedding day is vital. We are grateful for dropping numbers in our local communities, quick vaccine distribution, and Colorado’s response to events and weddings. While we still have a long road ahead of us in recovering from the fallout of the pandemic, we are looking towards brighter days with anticipation of larger events and weddings taking place soon. We want to share our response to the pandemic, including our updated policies for rescheduling dates.
1. Wedding Day Coverage
We have greatly missed our larger gatherings, and we have cherished the intimate weddings we have had the joy of photographing this last year. We anticipate a mix of intimate weddings along side larger gatherings remaining in our weddings in the coming years. The news that our state and nation is slowly beginning to reopen has been a source of great anticipation and joy for us along with our couples.

We are taking great care to ensure our couples who have already booked or have moved their date to the 2021 season have high priority for their wedding weekend. With the continuation of the Covid-19 vaccine rollout in Colorado and beyond, we anticipate the number of guests to increase in the coming months. Steve and I will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our clients, their guests, and others attending weddings this year. We continue to maintain social distancing practice, mask wearing, and continued sanitization practices during each wedding and event.

2. Scheduling
Scheduling remains a high priority for us as we navigate the reopening of venues and event spaces in the coming months. We are keeping a few dates open throughout the 2021 season to allow flexibility within our current clients’ wedding dates, and we are at the moment only photographing one wedding or event per weekend to adhere to state guidelines regarding best safety and health practices.

Within our updates policies, we are allowing for 1 rescheduling of a fully paid for wedding date to be rescheduled within 1 calendar (12 month) year of the original planned date should the need arise. Beyond this 1 time rescheduling, we will charge a move fee of 50% of the original wedding price to reschedule again. This allows us to schedule flexible rescheduling dates for our current clients while continuing to serve the needs of our future clients.

3. Communication
Our greatest desire during the Covid-19 pandemic is to remain in close communication with all of our clients. If you have any questions regarding your wedding, portrait session, or desired wedding date, feel free to reach out to us at any time. We are observing our local, state, and national response continuously to stay appraised of the latest updates. We ask that you communicate any concerns you have with us as soon as possible so we support you during this time.

We are grateful for our clients, and we are eager to begin photographing larger weddings in the coming months!
