Hi, I'm Jenna.

The Jenna Wren Timeline Guide

Create a seamless timeline that works best for you and your love story!

Nothing is more stunning than a bride in her gown, and we are especially fond of our adventurous brides who find unique and beautiful gowns for their elopement. Some couples find that they have been able to save some of their budget by eloping, which can give you more to spend on your gown! So let’s find the perfect gown for your elopement!

A few things to consider:

1. Gown Length:

A very important detail to think about when selecting your gown is the length of your train.  Elopements typically are outdoors in a rural location that may require you to pin up your train or have someone help hold it as you walk and move.  So make sure you select the right length for your gown! Check out this guide from Martha Stewart Weddings to help decide on a great length.  Gown length Elopement tips

2. Movement

If you’re dreaming of a mountaintop elopement or a boho inspired intimate wedding, then adding elements of movement with your gown is a must! As you try on your gown, try twirling (yes, just like when you were a little girl!) or dancing to see how the gown flows around your knees and calves.  The breeze can do a lot to create movement in your gown, but if you select a flowy dress then you can easily create the movement even if it is calm the day of your elopement.

3. Warmth

Colorado elopements are one of the most beautiful ways to get married in our nation, but they also come with a windchill factor.  I highly recommend purchasing a wrap, faux fur shrug, or even a gown with longer sleeves to help keep you a little warmer on top of the mountains.  Even elopements in the desert can prove to be a little chilly as the sun dips below the horizon.  We love these wraps and covers for your gown!

4. Details

Give us all the details, please! Your elopement gown can truly be any design, color, length, detail, or fabric you choose! So don’t hesitate to go all in with your gown (or jumpsuit!) selection!
