One of my favorite sessions in the line up of portrait sessions leading up to our clients’ wedding day is our bridal session offerings. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have found ways to connect with our clients in a variety of ways. At the beginning of 2020, we began offering bridal portrait sessions, day after sessions, and boudoir sessions for our beloved clients. We know that the moments we spend with our clients as wedding photographers in Vail and in the surrounding beautiful mountain towns allows us to connect with you one-on-one.
The time we spend photographing you two during your engagement session allows us to observe your natural connect together. Your bridal session is a wonderful way to capture your stunning bridal look. As well as a way to have a full gallery of beautiful bridal portraits to cherish during the years ahead. We highly recommend adding on a bridal portrait session to your wedding collection. Tiffany and Skylar’s bridal portrait session was one of our favorite moments with them. Even though their full wedding was postponed by a full year, they made the most of their moments together during their bridal session. Bridal sessions can take place anywhere that you dream in our Colorado mountains. We work all over Colorado’s gorgeous landscape, and as Vail wedding photographers we have a special spot in our heart for our ski villages.
Once you have your gown selected, we recommend having a trial run with your hair and make up artist to finalize your wedding day look. While you are working with your HMUA, you should ask for recommendations for your bridal session as well. Within the scope of your bridal session, we will take several images that are close up so make sure you select a make up and hair look that is true to your personality and preferences. I just love gorgeous lashes and bronze tint. I also highly recommend a strong lipstick tone that will enhance your smile on camera. Within our work in Vail as wedding photographers, we have a strong list of vendors to enhance your bridal session.
When Tiffany and Skylar’s Colorado Springs wedding had to be moved from 2020 to 2021, we decide to take full advantage of the bridal session that she had booked the fall before her wedding date. We found a stunning private estate that kindly allowed us to photograph her bridal session enhanced with Skylar’s handsome attire. We moved from bridal portraits to shots of them together, including a sweet first look in an aspen grove on the property. 2020 saw so much adversity, so it was our great joy to find a way to capture Tiffany in her stunning Rue De Seine gown purchased from A and Bè Denver. We love that Skylar was such a huge part of this bridal session. I think that we most definitely bring your groom fully dressed and ready to jump into moments with you for your bridal session.
One other part of your bridal session that is a must is to bring on a florist who can create a full bouquet for your bridal session. If you already hired a florist then purchase an add on bouquet that will replicate your wedding day arrangements. Adding florals to your bridal session is a huge must! We also love it when our guys are represented with a handsome boutonniere! We love this stunning bouquet and bout created by the talented LaRue Floral. We love working with the amazing vendors in Colorado that we have an opportunity to connect with throughout the year. We know that our trusted vendors will take excellent care of you during each part of your planning process.
We are overjoyed that weddings are back, and we can begin opening dates into 2022. We are working on a Covid resources page for our Jenna Wren brides and couples searching for the latest on Colorado’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic. We highly recommend including one of the following add on offerings to your wedding day collection.
Add On Offerings:
Bridal Portrait Session
Day After Session
Rehearsal Dinner Coverage
