Open year-round for hiking and inspiring rock formations, the Paint Mines in Calhan, Colorado is a wonderful spot to get engaged. Plan for muddy trails or snowy drifts if you are heading here in the fall through early summer months. The trails are winding and often shaded, so be prepared to hike a few miles in to see the stunning rock formations.

A personal favorite for any romantic occasion, The Denver Botanic Gardens provides a naturally beautiful backdrop for you to get down on one knee. The gardens have so many little corners that will provide you a private moment. Ready to plan your wedding at these beautiful gardens?

A truly iconic part of Denver and an urban escape, Union Station is a fun and bustling spot to ask this important question. Don’t forget to stay overnight nearby after to celebrate your new journey!

With miles of gorgeous trails and views, Garden of the Gods is a popular place to visit for a variety of reasons. I love Rocky Mountain National Park for your engagement location because it truly is one of the most gorgeous spots in Colorado. A very popular location with several hiking trails that are easily accessible for those traveling from out of state, RMNP is an all time favorite spot for everything from your engagement to your elopement.

I don’t think there is a more romantic mountain town than Vail! Just about any spot in this cobblestone lined village would be perfect to ask. Rent a couple of bikes and ride through the town or spend a snowy morning skiing the slopes before planning the perfect moment to pop the question.

Aspen’s mountain ski resort is a phenomenal spot to get engaged as well as enjoy the celebrations of your new journey right after. Aspen is a truly luxurious town to visit, and I highly recommend spending several days taking in all this location has to offer.
Take a ride up Telluride’s mountainside on a gondola and ask her to marry you then! Telluride is stunning year-round, and a breathtaking place to get engaged.
As gorgeous as all of Colorado is from the eastern plains to the western slope, there is one quaint mountain town that holds my heart the most. Crested Butte, Colorado is one of my favorite locations in the entire world, and I have spent many, many hours in this lovely spot.

This bustling mountain town is a fun spot to visit and plan your engagement all throughout the year. Spend time shopping and dining along main street and then head to the slopes for killer views and fun on the ski hills.
Only accessible from June through September, Pinery River Ranch is an exclusive and beautiful spot to get engaged in Colorado. Take a night to go camping along the lakeshore and then wake early to pop the question while gathered around the campfire the next morning.

A perfect luxurious mountain resort in Colorado Springs with gorgeous hotel grounds makes The Broadmoor an amazing spot to get engaged. The Broadmoor Resort is a wonderful hotel to celebrate your new engagement as well!

Located near Aspen, The Maroon Bells are beautiful in the summer and fall to hike and explore right before you get down on one knee. The views on this hike are breathtaking and one of my favorite spots in all of Colorado.
A stunning mountain pass accessible when the roads are clear of snow, I highly recommend this location if you are searching for stunning 360 degree views. Getting engaged in Colorado on this mountain pass will be the thrill of a lifetime!

On the top of Shrine Pass about a half an hour outside of Vail, these beautiful views are perfect in the summer and fall to get engaged in Colorado. With 360 degree views and several spots to camp overnight, Shrine Pass is a great option for popping the question.

Head to Red Rock Amphitheater for an iconic backdrop that is popular for music lovers to pop the question. Or even better, plan to attend a concert at this awesome music venue right before!
As a true mountain luxury resort, Devil’s Thumb Ranch is an awesome place to escape for the weekend for incredible dining, adventure excursions, cross country skiing, spa treatments, and beautiful views. I highly recommend sneaking away for a weekend to this gorgeous spot and planning your engagement in Colorado on the ranch.

A gorgeous spot with views of Lake Dillon and the surrounding mountains, Sapphire Point is a popular location year-round. Most easily accessible when there isn’t snow on the ground, this spot is a great location for a proposal if you are dreaming of lake views.
Colorado’s mountain ranges are full of amazing alpine lakes, often only accessible in the summer months. If you are dying to get engaged in Colorado at a high elevation lake, then doing a quick search for alpine lake hikes will help you find the perfect spot.
Stay the night in this stunning hotel in the heart of Vail and pop the question in front of the stunning fireplace inside your Swedish inspired room. Sonnenalp is a gorgeous hotel and one of my all-time favorites in Vail.
